Earlier this year, when most people were still in full summer mode, we were asked if we could help Sam’s Club with a virtual Santa program. Sam’s Club membership is at an all-time high with revenues surging at nearly 600 locations. They were gearing up for a big holiday season to serve pent-up demand from members who are planning for large family gatherings.
Sam’s Club was planning store events that would run in November and December and they wanted to include a visit with a virtual Santa. They told us how they planned on setting up big-screen TV’s at the stores with cameras and microphones. They’d line-up customers who wanted to speak with Santa, virtually.
They needed a partner that could help make it happen serving thousands of customers per day, across all USA time zones, with no lapse in coverage throughout the days. Sam’s Club does everything big. They needed a partner that could make sure the Big Guy himself could deliver a little Santa magic.
